106IN Diagonal Accuscreens HDtv Manual Wall Ceiling 52X92IN Reviews
I'm using a Sharp DT510 projector with the screen. This is my first screen purchased - without experience with any other screen, I'm happy with the picture I'm getting and the brightness of what's reflected. Screen was easy to install in my basement - a great alternative to an HDTV that is always on display, this rolls up and quickly converts my media room into a playroom for my three young kids.
the only thing i would complain about is when im rolling up the screen, it stops with about 8inches to go. and also when you first get it, be prepared to deal with the horrible smell that i guess all screens give off the first week or two. not a big deal. which unfairly makes this screen look bad. for the price you cant go wrong, I almost didnt buy this screen because the rating wasnt very great, but thats because there are a few people who are leaving nasty reviews about sellers they bought from (ink cartridges.). other than that, it has a great picture and i couldnt be happier.
My one thing that I would point out for the manufacturer is that this screen is wide enough that I think it warrants a support in the middle. The only other thing was that when it arrived the metal cowling had a small dent in it, I'm assuming from shipping but it was on the backside and is not visible when mounted on the wall, so I didn't care too much about it. Now that I think about it this may have an influence on the bowing issue (structural integrity), but that doesn't change my opinion about a middle support. I've noticed that the weight of the screen and case causes this to "bow" ever so slightly in the middle. From a picture standpoint I don't notice it unless I'm viewing from the side.
If you're looking for an inexpensive screen, I'd have no reservations recommending this product or ANTOnline.com whom I purchased it from through Amazon. I've had this screen for little over a month now and I've got no major complaints about this screen. This causes the screen not to be completely taut and there are a couple of little ripples in the lower right and left corners of the screen. I didn't need a high end screen as my setup is in a room where the only natural light is through a window which happens to be directly behind the screen.
This was to be a back-up for when needed. When I installed the cartridge, it did not make clean printouts. Basically I threw my money away with this purchase. I was told that I could not get the cartridge exchanged or get my money back since over 30 days had elapsed since purchase date. I had purchased a replacement cartridge for my HP Laserjet 1020 printer. I contacted the company to discuss the problem. I'd rather pay top dollar to Staples, Office Max, etc and know they will stand behind their product
The screen was as-advertised, arrived promptly without a scratch, and is a great value for the money. We have been using it regularly for two months and are very pleased.
