The thermometer is well worth the money. Sue Kirkland. I am extremely pleased with the 18" Outdoor Thermometer. Huntsville, AL. My husband hung it on a large tree in the backyard and I can see what the temperature is from my kitchen window. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in one. Everything I have purchased through Amazon has been most satisfactory.
There was no damage to the outter box, or its contents. and it is very light weight. I agree with the individual who noted the number arrangement. It is very large.it is very thin.
I hope I don't have some significant winds near where it is placed or it might just "take off".and if it does.it will never stop. this one seems to fit the bill. Seems a little flimsy. I should probably put my name and address on the back, so that if someone finds it in the next state, they can return it to me. Packaging was adequate, but minimal.
Quick shipping from this seller. If you are looking for a very large outdoor thermometer, and you don't particularly care to know the "precise" temperature. A little difficult to read if (for example) the temperature is 36 or 37. It goes from 20 to 40, with just a hash mark for 30. Hanging it was not too difficult, however the bottom bracket is a little unusual.

I can see it from my kitchen with no problem. I recommend it. The outdoor thermometer is huge. I have it across my property on my fencing that hides my pool pump and filter. The big, bold lettering is very intelligible. I received this product in perfect condition.
Thermometer is perfect for "across the yard" reading as dial is very large and easy to read.
Good thing about this thermometer is the numbers indicating the temperature degrees are large enough for anyone to see from inside the house near its location. You have to look closely to figure out exactly what the degree of the temperature is. 10, 30, 50, are not easy to see. Over all, this is a nice simple, clean and big thermometer. However, the drawback is the omitted numbers, e.g.
