However, don't forget to order an audio cable as well so you will have sound through the PC. The VGA cable worked just fine. I ordered one later and it was actually much less money than the VGA cable with audio attached.
Jacket material apears to be of substance. Connected my laptop to my 50" plasma, video quality was good. Feels like a decent cable. Not as stiff as some. What more do you want.
It serves the purpose I bought it for, however I do wish that it would send audio from my computer to the television. I love this cord. My only other complaint is that it comes loose from my laptop too easily. Other than that, I love it. If I barely move my laptop or if someone taps the cord, it comes out.
I was going to use it to connect my laptop to my 24" lg lcd monitor. I bought this cable because of the high reviews it received on amazon. But there is only one ferrite core on one end of the cable that I received. There was a slight flickering to the images, and yes I double-checked to make sure the connections were secure. But at 1900x1200 this cable's image reproduction was far worse than the default cable I received with the monitor. This also makes it worse than the default monitor cable I received which has one on both ends. Also, in the image it shows that there is a ferrite core at each end of the cable.
I have no problems with ghosting or anything with these cables very heavy-duty cable, very high-quality image. Worth every penny.
