4+1PORT USB 2.0 Pci Desktop Card -via Chip Set Reviews
The USB is a excellent choice and a even excellent price. I had someone mess up my USB ports on mother board and this was the best choice and best alternative for a even greater value. It works great. All I had to do was plu n play and it worked like a char.
I gave it 4 stars because the CD provided was cracked, but I didn't need it anyway. You can't beat the price on this item. It is an inexpensive way to add some more USB ports or, as in my case, add USB 2.0 ports on an older machine.
Product DOA. Looking back, probably should have bought two at that cost hoping one of the two would be OK. Might as well have stuck a piece of toast in my machine. Probably just got a bad card (quality control isn't the best on $4 electronics.). Bought a card from Circuit City (~$20) which immediately worked fine. Installed on an old PowerMac G4.
Ich am using Debian Lenny. Just pop it in and use it. No surprises with this one.
Product was a great price - shipped and recieved in good time - works just fine.
