4 Battery Solar Charger Reviews

It recharged my 4 C Energizers in winter-level sunlight in one afternoon. It does require you to recharge 4 batteries at once, can't handle 9V batteries, and if your cell phone power plug isn't one of the 4 types it attaches to, you're SOL. What can I say. Other than that, it appears to do what it claims.

close but could be better. The unit does not give them a full charge. I never know when they are done charging. only about 90% charged. the unit does not come with a charge indicator. It does charge them but. I use this unit to charge C-cell batteries (4 at a time).

I got this in case of emergencies when there is no power to charge batteries for flashlights and other things we would need. The construction is a little flimsy so I hope it stays together, and seems a little expensive for what I got but I probably wont think that when there is no power.

Absolutely could not believe how easily this worked. Stuck it in the sunlight (even through the window) and it charged AAA, AA, C, and D cell rechargeables. Only drawback is you can only charge four of one type at a time (no mixing of sizes). Had to special order (through Amazon) the rechargeable Cs & Ds. Includes a cord (see picture) for solar recharging certain equipment (like cell phones) but I don't have any way of testing that.

Recycled 80% for 1st recharge. Used for AA & AAA Alkaline cells. Only one leaked & one did not charge. Have used this unit for several months.
