The styling is alittle retro compared to something like harmon kardon but I had used products from them in the past and they make quality devices and I also purchased it because it plays mp3 disk. it works great though it's a little slow opening and closing and it takes acouple of second loading but aside from that its a great device and it was for a good price.
Being an old coot and not very tech savvy, my kids download music for me via MP3 devices and now I'm not restricted to only listening to them via my computer. This piece of equipment replaced a similar changer that was not able to play MP3 downloaded cds. It has become a valuable addition to my family and behaves better than my kids ever did. I purchased this cd changer because of its capability to play MP3 recorded discs.
Very satisfied. A pleasure to use after having a player that skipped and garbled cd's.
I ordered this for my husband, as our's died. But good player for the money. He rated it four stars saying it was a good basic player (no bells or whistles) and the one thing he didn't like about it was that you couldn't stop it while it was playing to change a disc (carousels are probably like this).
Had to cut a small hole for the connectors to stick out the back. But very happy with it. This is a really good unit. The only thing I can say bad about it is it is BIG. Wouldn't fit my stereo cabinet.
