The spare back includes just a power connector and the two video inputs: analog VGA and digital DVI with HDCP, which enables you to hook this monitor up to a cable or satellite set-top box for watching your favorite TV programs. - HDCP -- High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of copy protection technology designed to prevent transmission of non-encrypted high-definition content as it travels across DVI or HDMI digital connections.
- Response Time -- The amount of time it takes for a liquid crystal cell to from active (black) to inactive (white) and back against to active (black). It's measured in milliseconds (ms), and the lower the number the faster the response time--translating to a smoother picture with fewer pixilated or ghosted artifacts.

Acer AL2216Wbd 22" LCD Monitor - Black Reviews
I have owned this monitor for about 2 months now and I couldn't be happier. Can't beat that with a rubber stick. $223.84 minus the $50 HD DVD promotion Amazon has, I picked this puppy up for $173.84 and free shipping. Using the DVI vs Analog is a no-brainer. I tried both and the difference was striking. The colors are vibrant and I have zero dead pixels. DVI all the way. And then there's the price I paid.
If you are looking for 22" in this price range, it's a good way to go, plus it came with the DVI cord. You can certainly do better, but unless you hit a short-term sale/clearance, you are going to pay more. It came with one dead pixel, it's blue and only noticeable in with dark backgrounds and even then, only by me because I know where it is. This fit the bill at a great price. There is noticeable bleading along the top and sides, but again, its not enough to take away from the other pros, in particular, the price. I play a lot of games, and wanted a larger screen and good response compared to my 17" CRT.
No complaints. I don't really do any heavy gaming on the PC, so not sure what the performance is like in that arena, but for general business stuff and occasional videos, it's just great. Whole bunch of monitor for not much dinero.
Best price i could find on a 22" widescreen, and its bright and clear through DVI.
Apart from that; great monitor and a great price. The only thing is- at the bottom, the little stand is still attached, even though I have it attached to the wall via a back mount. This screen is a great size, crystal clear and installed easily with my xp media center edition op system. I cannot seem to take the bottom stand off or move it out of sight.
