Antec Twelve Hundred ATX 12 Drive Bays 2xUSB 2.0 eSATA Audio Mid Tower Case Reviews
I was completely disgusted with what I had saw, for their sake I better be getting a "New" case as was promised, If the one I received was "New", I do not want to see a "Used" case. I received my Antec Twelve Hundred Case in terrible condition, it had been banged up so bad the top of the case had actually broken off, and was only connected by the wires.
I went to my local computer store (where I ended up purchasing it) and poked and prodded at all the newer cases and couldn't really make up my mind and I finally just went with the twelve hundred and it's was definitely worth it. If there anything I'm a bit concerned about it's the lack of space for the wires on the back panel, but I'll manage. First off, if you're debating on what to get and it's driving you crazy, I couldn't recommend a better case.
This case is amazing, keeps everything cool and running smooth. Great price for an awesome case. Air circulation is amazing, specially if you have a PSU that has a pass-thru fan on front and back, your case and PSU and cards never get hot. The front, back and top fans have their own fan controllers. Not to make this to long but. But what do you expect with steel right. Alright i got the case, and i love it. There are 2 cons to having this case and one is that the clear part of the side panel rattles sometimes because of some cheap plastic.
My case weighs 115 lbs with 10 HDDS, motherboard, PSU and video cards. I will NEVER get another case again. The side panel has an optional fan insert if you want it. Second con is that its really heavy.
One of my front blue LED 120mm fans died the first day. After a couple simple exchanges of emails, my new fan was on its way for free :) The fans run quiet (in my opinion) considering how many there are, the dust filters work very well, the LEDs look beautiful against the full black case, and it has excellent cable management. Simply put, I love this case. The tech support is excellent too. I highly recommend it.
Because of this case I am overclocking further than I ever have before with my Q6600 quad core processor, 4 GPU CrossfireX 3870 setup and 4 hard drive raid 0 + 1. Lots of space, fans, water cooling support, looks sxy, nice blue LED's everywhere, side panel comes off for great cable managment so your internal temperatures and airflow are perfect. You will be hard press to find a poor review on this case and if you do, it's probably biased for some reason. You can't go wrong w/ this case, it's a one stop shop.
