My Ipod Classic 160gb worked fine for about a year and half and then started pausing in the middle of songs and skipping songs. Then it stopped working all together. I took it to the Apple Store and their options to me were to buy a replacement one for $175 or get a 10% discount on another model. Looks like I have a $200 paperweight now...once the 1 year warranty runs out, your left high and dry.
Finally went to an ipod. This ipod has tons and tons of space for music which I love. Also there is room for pictures and videos..sweet!
Ipod good as always this version is more small that the 6th but with the same good quality
The Classic is great for keeping a large library portable. I also use a Touch for its features. great to have both...if they had a 250gb unit, I'd get that so I could hold the rest of my library...still have to make choices.
I purchased this item from Amazon because it was $20 cheaper than Apple's Internet OR in-Store price. It was delivered to my front door exactly as promised, having saved me any expenditure for gasoline or travel time. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, play music and [...] books either through it's ear phones or my car sound system. The huge capacity is well beyond my anticipated needs, but I enjoy the feeling that I will never have to worry about running out of space for music or books. The fidelity of the music is well beyond what I can hear and the selection of music and books is totally under my control. I often travel with a small trailer and this iPod provides me with music at night through an iHome sound system or books during the day through either the ear phones or my car's sound system. I am very pleased with the entire purchase, delivery, and use process.
