Not too much of a loss, but still it seems like all it would take would be Mac making it available via a software patch. Oh, the access time to boot up a video is super quick compared to older pods. We'll, you can't beat the 40 additional GB on this one, so if your a storage hog, then it will suite you nicely, so get it while you can. Here are two things you should know when buying 1-your previously bought games will NOT work on this iPod - yes, hard to believe, but now I've got all these games that can not even be repurchased for this "gen" iPod. Yet another flawless Apple product.
Otherwise I quite happy with the purchase. very nice. The only other minor draw back is that the "Genius" feature has not been updated by Mac in it's firmware for any older iPods. Happy Mac'ing - Mark.
likes to stick, guess 160 gb does that to a machine, plus went on sale the day i recieved it in the mail due to the new 120 gb:(.
Really nice, although it seems about 10 times heavier than the next smaller size down even though its not really that much better (just holds more songs)
This is the sweetest iPod I've ever had. All I can say is, it must be that only the small percentage that have had troubles have posted reviews, the ones that have had nothing but good like me have not written or given feedback. As I was reading, I was thinking I've made a huge mistake and a nightmare is on the way. I've read all the bad reviews on Amazon.com, and read it all while I was waiting for my 160gb to come in the mail. I replaced my 5th Generation 60gb video with it, and I love it.
The same ipod you all know, but still missing the FM radio. I like iTunes a lot too, but it makes a mess when you have.wma files
