You can even adjust the reading speed to suit you.

iPod classic holds up to 25,000 photos you can sync from your Mac or PC via iTunes. Use the Click Wheel to scroll through photo thumbnails the same way you scroll through song titles. To see a photo full screen, click the center button. You can even view photo slideshows--complete with music and transitions--on iPod classic or on a TV using an optional Apple component or composite AV cable.

Search
With up to 40,000 songs on your iPod classic, you need an easy way to search your collection. Extras
Calendars, contacts, and a clock appear in the Extras menu, along with a few more handy items. Take the screen lock, for example. Spin the Click Wheel to choose a four-digit combination and protect your iPod classic from prying eyes. If you forget your combination, just reset when you sync. Apple iPod classic 80 GB Silver (6th Generation) OLD MODEL Reviews

I have had two iPod Classics and have had trouble with both. The first iPod broke due because water got into the machine. I don't know how it got water inside of it. I was walking in the rain to class and it must have gotten soaked through my jean pockets. I would understand this happening if the glass was cracked and there was some way for water to get in but there were no visible cracks or damage on the machine. My second and last iPod (or Apple product for that matter) broke when the it's drive was damaged. The day before, the iPod was working. After I was finished using it, I put it away and left it alone. When I went to use it the next day, it took a couple of minutes for the songs to start playing. It would also change songs without me pressing any of the buttons (the hold was also even on). I took it to an Apple store and they said that the driver was broken and would need to be replaced. I decided that it wasn't worth the time or the money (even if it was a cheap repair) to fix a product that was going to crap out for no apparent reason. This wasn't the only issue I've had with that iPod either. Prior to the driver breaking, the rotating dial often wouldn't work. I would rotate the dial to select another artist and nothing would happen. It would eventually start working again (sometimes requiring a reset) but it was always a pain to deal with. When it worked, it was good MP3 player. However, the trouble I've had with them don't make them worth the price. Additionally, I'm not a fan of iTunes. It would be a good program but the music sounds awful when I play it on my computer (I generally use Windows Media Player if I'm listening to music on my computer). It will be nice to get a reliable MP3 player that doesn't require me to run use iTunes as well.

In the end, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on an iPod.

This product was as advertised. It was a great value for the money. It functions just like a brand new one and I would not hesitate to buy from this company again.
Why pay for a new one when the reconditioned one from ipodzen is just as good if not better.

I can't believe I went so long without one of these. It links quickly to my laptop and updates my music and podcasts extremely fast. The only thing that I have noticed is that the scroll seems to pause occasionally when I've played a game. Shouldn't be playing games anyway : )

We love it. Still have lots of memery left to fill. Good product, great price and fast delivery.

I do a lot of traveling and had been watching movies on a laptop when there was enough room. Finally decided to buy a portable devices with my extra per diem and researched them all. For price and hard drive space, the iPod classic is the best.

I watch movies on the plane, while working out, and purchased the accessory to plug it into a TV which makes the iPod into a DVR that can store over 7 days worth of movies.

Getting your DVDs or videos into the iPod format required the most amount of research and learning. There were several free and affordable programs out there, but I started getting more involved in audio and video and for the PC user I recommend [...] you can buy all their software which can do video conversion in almost any format, audio conversion, audio mixing & editing, video mixing and editing and it's a great mix of everything.
