I'm pleased with the extended warranty. It took about 10 days before the apple website would accept my information, although it ultimately did and I now have an extended warranty. However, I did have trouble registering the warranty.

 

Amazon has a good price on the product. He went above and beyond anything I have experienced to make sure the problem was corrected. Used it already and spoke with a guy in Houston, Tx. This is a must for every Imac owner. Apple is definitely setting the pace for other manufacturers to follow.

 

Basic extension of warrenty on Apple products from 1 year to 3 years. worth the price especially on portables.

 

Dell NEVER did that. I DON'T like that when I need a replacement part, they ask me for a credit card number. My experience with apple and dell is that something will break in 3 years. There was NO way around it except to take it to an apple store (which is nowhere near where i live) and have them special order the part because they don't carry it in stock. I think Apple makes great products, but technology is faulty. besides that part, I'm very glad I bought it. It seems to me if their product is broken, why should I give them access to my credit cards.

I will most likely cost you more. I always use or exceed the amount it costs in 3 years.

 

It's a condom that lasts two years for your iMac. You can't go wrong.
