These speakers were easy to set up and use and have GREAT sound. I am very happy with this purchase.
I wasn't sure what to expect considering the price of this unit. I'm happy with it. I was happy to find out though that it has great sound for something so compact.
That's my fault for not checking. Nice looking, but was unaware that there is no option for making it cordless and battery powered for outdoor trips. It works great as an Ipod recharger too.
The sound quality is great and once the iPod is connected it's easy to use. However, a large selling point for me was the auxiliary jack to connect to my laptop. If you only plan to use with your iPod I highly recommend it. After a fairly minor fall onto carpet the aux jack broke and I haven't been able to repair it.
Other reviewers mentioned the sound being loud at start up, but I have found that the only reason it is loud is because that is how I left it when I turned it off last. I think it is great and the sound is good also. Even at a slight angle I find it doesn't always work. My only complaint (and it doesn't bother me that much) is that the remote has to be pointing directly in front of the unit. I have had this system for almost a month and I love it.
