AT&T 2.4GHz Dual Handset Cordless Phone System- E2715B Reviews

This transaction was flawless from purchase through rapid delivery. What more can be said.

This model is an excellent phone for the price: however, it may lack adequate lightning protection since it was damaged and a standard phone on the same line was not damaged. The E2715B was purchased to replace an identical phone that was damaged by lightning.

MARY

Another thing that I like about it is my ability to use it in connect with my other cordless phone base that has a voice announceator that identifies who's caller. My only complaint is that sometimes because of it frequencies it interfers with other wireless equipment that is near the same frequency. For the price paid for this phone, I think it is a great phone.

It is light weight. I have dropped it several times but it still works. If I should have need of another phone, because of its price I would purchase it again.

The clip allows me to clip it on to my clothing as I move about. I love because of the ability to talk hands free.

I love it for its caller ID ability and easy storage of phone number from caller ID.

If AT&T could improve the Caller ID system, provide a true real-time battery indicator and allow people the ability to turn off the audible low battery beeping, than I'd give this phone a much higher rating. "Mom", "Doctor Jones", "Vet", "Work"). You can also indicate if you'd like certain people calling in to ring differently than others. I do not place my phone on the base after every call, choosing to leave it off until charging is needed. It does not "manage" the calls listed in Caller ID. I've had this phone for 6 months now and as far as sound quality, noise and reception go it's a pretty good phone. i.e.

The battery-low function is also coupled with an audible "beep-beep-beep-beep", which more times than not seems to go off in the middle of the night. There is no "off" for this beeping aside from placing the phone on the base. If you normally place your handset back on the base after each call then maybe this wouldn't be an issue for you. I have other phones which will list unique calls only one time and show a number of calls received from that number next to the entry. This phone has a speakerphone on the handset, which I love, but there is no speaker or dialing capabilities on the base. If the same person calls you repeatedly they are listed each time, so the 50-name caller ID list can be filled up with the same few names over and over again unless you are diligent in cleaning up the list and removing the duplicate listings. Unlike the other reviewers I have never had any problems with the New Call indicator feature. I wish this phone did this.

I can't tell until too late when the battery level is low. You can add 50 names to a Directory, which acts as your phone book. There are two annoying aspects to this phone, however, which would make me think twice about buying it again. The other issue I have is that the battery level indicator only displays once the handset needs to be charged. . (If someone on the list calls you their name will display the same way you've entered it in your Directory.
