I work form home and loved the idea of owning this phone. Two weeks after owning it, the handset failed. While using any of the two lines, if another call came in on either line there would be enough static to disturb my conversation. I called AT&T customer service and they suggested that I return the equipment. It had all the features I wanted.
Some of the functions like redial and to delete CID numbers take several keystrokes to accomplish which is somewhat annoying. All in all, I feel I got a great phone and a great price. The wireless expansion phones are very clear and have no static. The headset & mike I use doesn't make my voice sound muffled like some other phones I've had. I really enjoy it because all the phones have speakerphone capability. I got the phone and a wireless expansion phone (a wireless expansion phone comes with the corded unit, so I have 2 wireless phones)about a month ago. It is a 2 line unit and both lines work great. I have voice mail from my phone carrier so I don't use the answering machine.
