AT&T 950 Corded Telephone with Caller Id, Call Waiting and Speakerphone Reviews
A corded desk phone. And a set of 4 new AA batteries lasted only three days before expiring, making the phone worthless. It turns out that the phone simply doesn't work at all without the batteries. It's an inexpensive phone, so the cheap feel to it is to be expected. I was surprised to see that it took batteries. It really should come with an AC power supply, but I don't understand why they can't run it off the power supplied in the phone line.
I would take a Panasonic over AT&T,however the 1 line Panasonic does not have spekaer phone. This is a great phone however, the folks at AT&T haven't done their homework as the speaker-phone is really bad. Too bad they don't just make a corded telephone as they would blow everyone else away. Stop producing Chinese garbage. Uniden has a great speaker phone but has a corded base, and a cordles handset. What does it take to make something good. You get feedback and unless your right on top of it,the other party cannot hear you-you fade in and out as prior reviewers have stated. AT&T needs WAKE UP CALL.
Great corded phone with all the features I was looking for. Good value for my money.
It's very hard to see anything in the window. I did some comparisons for wired phones. Phone is just average, however I was disappointed that it did not have a lighted caller ID window.
Will have to return and try a different model/brand. The only reason I bought this was for the speakerphone. But it does the same thing with mute on. I had assumed it was noise/feedback on my end. I am very disappointed with the speakerphone portion. The persons voice on the other end fades in an out constantly.
