AudioSource LS200 Four-inch Full Range Indoor/Outdoor Speakers (Pair)
The AudioSource LS loudspeaker is designed to accurately reproduce high fidelity music, including today's demanding digital signals. The discrete compact Indoor/Outdoor format is ideal for many applications where larger "box style " speakers would be impractical. The weather tight cabinets allow you to extend your listening area to include patios, decks, poolsides and other outdoor environments. The LS 200 speakers may be used independently where space is a consideration. They may also be used to enhance and enrich subwoofer and Home Theater systems, for which they are especially suited.
The AudioSource LS200 speakers are easy to get excited about. With a surprisingly open midrange and warm tonal balance, they sound terrific. And they're weatherproof, so they can make music indoors or outdoors. The included adjustable brackets make it easy to mount the LS200s on a wall, under eaves, or even in your truck, RV, or boat. If you're restricted by budget or space, you can even use two sets as the heart of a home theater system. The LS200s also come with a five-year warranty and are a great value. In a size and price range where we normally see two-way designs, the three-way LS200s are rare birds. An extra midrange driver doesn't always make for better sound, but, in this case, the third driver adds a degree of warmth and smoothness that we've never encountered in a speaker at this price. As a bonus, AudioSource has mirror-imaged the drivers, which allows a pair of LS200s to create the kind of pinpoint imaging we associate with far costlier models. You'll hear these qualities as soon as you put on a favorite CD--especially if you're a fan of vocal music. (This is why the midrange is so important.) The LS200s are smooth and open and their sound is free of box coloration--that "hooded," overly resonant sound that some speakers have. The suaveness of these speakers extends to the highs and the bass, too. Although small woofers will never produce teeth-rattling bass, the ones in the LS200s have enough of a minipunch to let you boogie if the impulse strikes. Our only complaint is a minor one and not a surprise in this price range: we would have preferred binding posts over the clip terminals that are on the back of the LS200s. But if you don't already use extra-heavy-duty speaker cable with your speakers, this may not be an issue. We congratulate AudioSource for producing a great little speaker for a price that simply can't be beat. --Wayne Garcia Pros:

AudioSource LS200 Four-inch Full Range Indoor/Outdoor Speakers (Pair) Reviews
In fact, I like them so much that I'll probably take them down for the winter, to avoid having to replace them in a few years. I don't know why these outdoor speakers were so cheap; they replaced much larger speakers that eventually gave it up to the weather conditions, but the sound is even better. They are powered with a standard 50-watt Sonos receiver/amplifier unit, and still sound teriffic.
Good sound for a 6.1 setup, mounting is very easy. Good choice if you can get a good price.
Stereo separation is excellent and the speakers have a nice blended tone without sounding muddled. I have them on our deck, about a 25 foot run from a 100Watt per channel receiver. These inexpensive weatherproof speakers sound far better than their price would lead you to suspect. Forget more expensive speakers unless you intend to go into the $500 range.
I got these for use with a cheap stereo in cramped quarters, and they are perfect for my needs. There are few small stereo speakers on the market.
Highly recommended. They have already been through several rain storms here in Georgia and continue to work fine. Sure they don't have the deep bass that you might expect from expensive indoor speakers, but at this price they do they job perfectly. I bought these to mount under my deck for some outdoor tunes and they work great.
