We really like this style she can hold it or it will sit upright on a table. Our 4 year old uses it for trips and around the house. We have chargers for it for the the car and house so we never worry about it running out of juice. When this one dies we will get another one. We are starting to have problems with it accepting a charge - you have to jiggle where the charger plugs in and it's getting fussier and fussier. We have owned this for about a year. It has been dropped at least a dozen times and keeps playing.

You have to be a bit careful of that. I got this for my kids to use in the car. I've even taken it to the grocery store so my 2 year old can sit patiently in the cart while I shop. However, the screen does scratch easily. We've had it for about two weeks and it works like a charm. My youngest gets cranky quickly in the car, but this thing keeps her happily watching Scooby Doo. I like that it has a power adapter for the car and for the house.

However, the battery life (2 hours) could be a little longer. Nice little dvd player, and easy for kids to operate.
