BabyBjörn Toilet Trainer - White/Black

A comfortable toilet trainer that your little one can sit on safely. Once adjusted, children can put it in place themselves when they go to the bathroom. Easy to remove and clean, and the soft shape makes it comfortable too.

Toilet training can sometimes be tedious, but the BABYBJÖRN toilet trainer makes learning to go to the bathroom a little easier. It gets praise for its comfortable, rounded, and ergonomic shape, but what will have you most pleased is its ability to easily fit and adjust to any toilet seat. You make the adjustment the first time, and the child can put it on and remove by themselves (although, supervision is always recommended). It is confidence-building autonomy such as this that makes a potentially traumatic transition go smoothly. It is made of high-gloss, scratch-resistant plastic. It has an angled splashguard to prevent mess and a built-in handle to hang on the wall. Recommended age is two and up. --Scott Teal

Potty training can be a real challenge for both kids and parents alike. The BabyBjorn Toilet Trainer helps make things a little easier and more pleasant for everyone. Made to be placed on a standard toilet seat, this sturdy plastic training device can either kickstart or give the potty training process a boost so your child feels comfortable and safe going to the bathroom like a big kid.

The BabyBjorn Toilet Trainer offers:
  • Durable, easy-to-clean construction.
  • Adjustability to fit all toilet seats.
  • Angled splashguard prevents messes outside the toilet.

True Ergonomic Comfort
The first step in potty training is often convincing a child that sitting on the toilet is both comfortable and safe. That's why the Toilet Trainer boasts a round shape and ergonomic design. Moreover, it features an adjustable dial that easily adapts to all types of toilet seats, and once adjusted it sits firmly in place so your child will be less fearful of falling off or in the toilet. To help encourage potty independence, after you make the first adjustment, your child can put the Toilet Trainer on and remove it by him or herself (with supervision from mom or dad, of course).

Easy Removal and Cleaning
Let's face it: potty training is messy. But the Toilet Trainer can be a real ally when it comes to both cleaning up accidents and preventing them in the first place. First, an angled splashguard ensures that nothing lands outside of the toilet. Secondly, the Toilet Trainer is easy to remove and wipe clean; for more thorough cleaning, you can use soap and warm water. And the convenient, built-in handle makes it a snap to move the trainer or hang it on the wall when it's not in use.

Smoother, Less Traumatic Transitions
Designed for children from about age two to six years, the Toilet Trainer has a safe and inviting design that helps make the transition from diapers to sitting on the toilet a smoother and less traumatic one. When children are frightened of the bathroom and any of the things in it, the potty process can slow down or even stop. That's why the Toilet Trainer does not feature any sharp angles or joints and why it sits on the toilet, but is shallow enough to help forestall the fear of falling in. And as your child's bathroom confidence grows, he is more likely to want to progress to the next step, rather than deciding this potty training business is not for him.

BabyBjörn Toilet Trainer - White/Black Reviews

It is easy for him to be able to pick up and put onto the toilet himself because of the handle as well. We bought the stool with it when we purchased this. We have used this for our son for 2 years now and all we had to do was to tell him to point his "pee pee" down and he does it each time he uses it, now just to go "poo poo" though.

Just wipes down. He has no problem placing this on the toilet. HIGHLY recommended. It cleans super easily too. And it's so easy. It stores under the cabinet and my son pulls it out and uses the bjorn step stool to climb on the potty.

Worth the expense. It fits perfectly in the toilet, is easy for my son to put on and take off (he's 2), the size is perfect that he doesn't have to worry about falling in the toilet, and the little splashguard on the front is a life-saver (or should I say floor-saver). I VERY HIGHLY recommend this product, and given that I was so skeptical, I takes a lot for me to say that. I have to completely agree. I was skeptical given the price of this product (and since I needed 2) but I went ahead and bought them since all the reviews were so great.

We had tried everything, but this was the one. We have had this for two weeks and she is potty trained. Wow.

In fact, we've liked it so well that we're getting a second one for the upstairs bathroom. (A side note, we've also used the Baby Bjorn potty chairit was one of the only potty chairs large enough for my son to use comfortably). My son is almost three, and big for his age (38 lbs, 37.5 inches), and we've had trouble with all of the other potty seats we used, as the potty guard was not nearly large enough. Although this is expensive, it was definitely worth the money, in my view. I'm not sure that it would be as necessary for a girl. It cleans easily, fits the toilet snugly, seems comfortable enough for my son, and, best of all, actually has a potty guard large enough to work (most of the time). This one is great.
