i purchased this item a month before Christmas as a gift. Funds were immediately withdrawn from my paypal account. I have never received the items. I did however get a couple emails apologizing for the out of stock item. They provided an 800 number that I have called requesting a refund to my account, which I have not received either!
I really enjoyed this product. I needed something SIMPLE, yet durable and shock-absorbing. This happened to be the right product that fit the budget! My only complaint is the edge covering: There is not a good grip along the edges of the ipod, making game apps and other landscape-enabled apps difficult as you have to watch to make sure the case does not slip off the corners. I mean it is very snug and allows enough room for docking and input devices, but simply holding the ipod(with the cover on) in landscape (horizontal) position, makes it easier to accidentally slip off the covering. It held up pretty well when my puppy got a hold of it. The thick and unflavored :) rubber proved adequate protection from his sharp teeth penetrating through it. Overall i would stick with this until something better comes out.
I have the black/blue set and I'm currently using the black one.
It's easy to snap on and it protects the back of my iPod from getting scratched... or so you think it protects it.
After a day of usage, I noticed some permanent smudge spots on the back of my iPod Touch 2G, I assumed that it was the silicone case's doing, but I wasn't sure. This uncertainty left me to ignore it until the very next day when I discovered more smudges. Now it's safe to assume that dirt, sand, or dust particles get stuck between the the back of the iPod and the friction causes the two to rub together. Voila, you have these new unwanted smudges.
I placed a piece of tissue between the case and the back of the iPod to reduce the amount of smudges.
It's ironic how a product that's supposed to protect your iPod's finish is ruining it.
I guess I should've gotten a plastic case instead.
Snug fit, Make it easier to hold the iPod in your hand since it will not slip out of your hand. Also grips your desk or wherever you lay it better. And has protected my iPod from many falls. I love silicone cases and these ones are great for the price.
These sleeves are easy to put on the iPod touch and fit like a glove. They are made out of thin silicone that doesn't add any bulk to the iPod at all. You can still use all the controls and charge just fine. The added piece of mind these sleeves give, knowing it is protecting my iPod from scrapes and scratches, is worth three times the price.
