I used this cable from my cable DVR box to my 2.1 surround sound home. works and sounds great. theater system to use instead of TV speakers.
dnt get me wrong i like monster products i own a few my self but found dis cheaper and does the same exact job i am buying a spare for just in case neva know wen u might break u cable keep in mind.
Only using those speakers for the tv until I make up my mind on what computer I'd like to put together. I like how the ends are capped and the caps are attached to the cable themselves so you don't have to look around for them. So far the cable works good, I've never had anything go wrong with any optical cable. Using it to hook up z5500e's to a tv and needed this optical cable to get digital out. So far works great.
This connects my DirecTV HD receiver to my component system. I have a couple of other brand name digital audio cables hooked in for my CD and DVD player, and cannot honestly determine if there's any difference in sound quality. The 6 ft cord makes it easy if you have a large entertainment center and a lot of distance to cover to connect to the component system. Given the reasonable price, I would recommend this cable.
I bought this for use on my playstation 3 (ps3). It was definetely cheaper than any of my local retail stores. No problems what-so-ever. The quality is fine, and product works great.
