Unfortunately, it's a sports sleeve for the earlier versions of the Nano and there is nothing in the writeup to indicate this. It really sucks to by things over the internet and then get old, out of date products instead of what you thought you were going to get. I bought this to go with the new Nano that I bought for my wife for Christmas.
This product was under $15. It's easy to take teh strap on and off. It comes with an armband strap that I use for running but otherwise leave off. It protects my iPod Nano from bumps.
I tried perfecting it so much that I rubbed some of the glue off and created a smug. The white cover is great. It looks like a faded red, but better than black. The holes for the buttons are good, but for the hold button i cut a bigger hole. Also don't mess too much with the screen cover.
I never have to worry abut dropping this tiny device. Quality is great just the thing I was looking for. I got it instead of the black b/c I have a red I-Pod and I wanted the color to show. And it would be nice if they made the arm band white, b/c unless your I-pod is white you end up with a medley of colors.
I love that it includes a thing to protect the screen. I bought it to protect my ipod from the elements (meaning all the various stuff in my purse), and it's worked perfectly well for that purpose. I haven't used the arm band just yet, but it seems to be comfortable enough to wear while jogging.
The sleeve allows access to the top and bottom. This allows the Nike+ receiver to be connected to the ipod while you are running. I have done a few runs with this Ipod holder. It is very comfortable. This is much better than the Nike ipod holder as in this one you can see the screen. It is not water proof so no running in the rain with it.
