Bose Companion 2 Series II multimedia speaker system Reviews
no bass at all even for some good old rock n roll, hate the automatic adjusting of the volume, i'm returning these immediatly.
How they get so much bass out of such small enclosures is a mystery. HOWEVER, I am still pleased with these PC speakers and highly recommend them to anyone wanting quality output from inexpensive speakers with a small desktop footprint. The sound quality of these little speakers is incredible. I have to crank the bass control on my sound card all the way down and the treble control all the way up to get an acceptable balance. This is why they get four instead of five stars. That said, the speakers are too bass heavy.
I've heard Bose makes good speakers, but not these. These speakers sound like a pair I would expect to pay about $10 for. All you are buying is the Bose name. $99 is ridiculous. I took mine back and got the Creative T-20s.
I have always had a good experience with Bose and these work great with my new Mac setup. I have been very pleased with these speakers.
perfect size. expensive, try to find them on sale somewhere, i got mine for 73 plus 8 shipping.nothing beats bose in terms of sound.
