Bose Companion 3 Series II multimedia speaker system Graphite/Silver Reviews
The volume knob also has a place to plug in an ipod and headphones. I keep the bass off and it still vibrates pictures on the other side of the wall. Just tap it to turn off sound if the phone rings. This tiny package gives me just what I need for music and gaming. Bottom line is its a nice little package with great looks, features, and sound. Which I havent taken advantage of yet.
This small sub pounds more then my 5.1 Acoustimass 10 system which I am soon to be replacing for my home theater. I love the volume knob which sits on my desk and is easily in reach. The black and silver matches my new LCD moniter great.
We wanted something with a very small foot print that could deliver great sound while watching movies, listening to rock, jazz, funk, classical, and our beloved podcasts. These speakers easily fill the room as we use these for our main home entertainment system. My wife and I have a Mac Mini hooked up to our TV. I would recommend these to anyone wanting big-speaker sound in a tiny, little package. The bass just thumps. These speakers are absolutely amazing and the frequency range is excellent despite being a 3-speaker system.
I love music and with these speakers I have everything I was looking for: good quality sound, easy to install, something I would plug into my apple airport and get my music wirelessly from my computer.I can also plug the TV if I want as it has an input for the TV as well. ose equipments are known to be expensive but I think the price for this product is worth it.for me, I live in a small apartment and I don't need a complete sound system, which would be way more expensive for my needs and useless at this time. I think I get excellent sound with these speakers.B. I would definitely recommend this product.
They are made for a small space, much like an appartment or office. ft, get something bigger. My own personal demons brought me to test these speakers myself through various means, and i have found them to be faithful in reproducing 20hz through to 18khz, (I don't have anything I can test above that with directly). But i will say this, if the location you wish to set these up has an area greater than 125sq. The smaller space these speakers are in the better they will sound. 1 it must sound good,.
these speakers are not designed for a living room, outdoors, or large area. Alsothe quality of the audio processor/ device plays a big part on the quality of sound you will experience with any speaker system. The cones in the satelites and the woofer do not have the surface area to move air in a room much larger than 125sq ft.
I serve in the army and since I am single I live in the barracks on post. All in all, I will say these are great speakers and if you have it, they are worth the money you'll be set back getting them. 2 it cant take up a lot of space.
I got the Companion 3 system because they have an incredibly small footprint and reproduce sound at near studio quality. If your audio processor cannot faithfully reproduce an audio signal, then that is another issue. I am also an audiophile and it incredibly hard to find a speaker system that meets two requirements of a soldier:.
I have read a few of the other reviews and have to point some things out to prospective buyers;.
Well, if you just like to watch movies sitting in front of your computer then you might like this system. If you want something smaller for music then buy some shelf speakers of some good brands. But actually it does not have anything special which generally people expect from BOSE. It is a good system. But the way BOSE has advertised their systems I decided to give a try to this system.
The sound quality is good, and its very crisp clear. but its amplifier is real good, it produces all frequencies precisely. My main purpose was to have nice computer speakers for listening music. and high frequency notes.
Also my room is not very big one, but when we go 7-8 feet away from system we can here very less mid-range frequency response, we just hear lot off low frequency bass produced by woofer(something like hump.hump.). Still I am trying to find some reason that I should not return it. The main problem is that it lacks mid range frequency response. Also when the volume level is about 30-40% and we listen some music, the bass produced by woofer gives a headache after some time.
It does not have any direct reflecting speakers or wave guides etc. Even if you increase its volume you will not get that punch which other conventional music systems gives. I bought this product and used for a week. Also this system is good for games but not for music.
I am a fan of conventional music systems (one with big speakers).
