The world's smallest, most advanced laser rangefinder, the Bushnell Tour V2 weighs just 6.6 ounces and is accurate from 5 to 1000 yards. It's equipped with PinSeeker technology to combine pinpoint accuracy and consistency enabling you to range up to 300 yards (±1 yard) to the flag without the use of reflectors. Designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind, Bushnell's Pinseeker mode allows easy acquisition of the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the closer of the two objects is shown on the LCD screen. Powered by a 3-volt battery, the ultra-compact Tour V2 boasts a 5x magnification and features a rubber armoring, making it easy to grip. It also comes with a premium carrying case. The Tour V2 is legal for tournament play and for posting of scores for handicap purposes. How a Laser Rangefinder Works
Bushnell's Yardage Pro rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Then, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for a laser beam to reach a target and return to the unit. Next, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance within ±1 yard and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD Display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.

Out of the box the middle numbers of the display did not illuminate. I just recieved my Tour V2 rangefinder and was extremely eager to use it.The product came just in time for a golf outing at a local resort that I had not played before. I should have bought the Nikon. Where is the quality control. Now I have to take the time to send it back to Bushnell - $20 dollars in postage, there and back - not to mention how long it will take to come back.
It is easy to focus and doesn't require real steady hands to find the pin and get a distance measurement. While the optics aren't quite as crisp, they are very good. This Bushnell is easier to use than the next size up. We have both this one and the other one but this one is my preference. Also, the small size and clip on case are easy to attach to my golf bag so it is always with me when I go to the course.
Highly recommended. It is compact, lightweight,accurate and very easy to get distance to the pin or any other object on the course. What more could you want in a yardage measuring device. I couldn't be happier with the Tour V2 Pinseeker,.
The Skycaddie is pretty cool, and can give you a lot more data, but at the cost of being at times confusing and a drag on play time. The V2 is just a more practical tool for the job. Lightweight, accurate and easy to use (without slowing up play) - what more can a golfer ask for. I've tried almost all of the rangefinder and GPS products out there and this one was the most user friendly of the bunch on a round-by-round basis.
I had a non-pinseeker model before and liked it. This one is much better at finding the pin/ flag. Previous model would have some problems distinguishing the flag from trees in the background. Highly recommended. This one zeros in very nicely.
