Bushnell Tripod Window Mount Reviews

This tri-pod is ok. If you use a semi-heavy camera on it, it's hard to balance your camera/camcorder on it. Not great and not bad.

This product is very flimsy. It feels like it will break if you use it.

It might be ok for a small camera, but telescopes need a wider base of support with no play in the moving parts; otherwise your image jumps all about. Do you realize the shortest leg is only 4 inches. Note that it uses the window clamp to attach the scope to the tripod but the tiny clamp doesn't have the strength to grip the tripod tab and the knob slips on the screw if you try to make it sufficiently tight. I had hoped to keep my birding scope at the ready on the deck table but for me this is totally inadequate. Unfortunately-for my use-I made a mistake of buying a toy for a serious need.

It does everything I bought it for. Enough said. I drive with this tripod open and ready beside me, able to mount this on the half open window at any given moment and get that "great" shot. Many times I'll be driving along a back road and "there it/they are". I video and photo Eagles, Deer, etc., summer and winter. Just remember to shut the car off when shooting or the car's vibration will be in the picture or videos.

You can't beat this for the price but I prefer my manfrotto mini 3007 kit for its flexibility
