This product greatly improved the signal to a television located a good distance from where my antenna comes into the house.
I was worried about overload.Boy did i get a wrong number.It did nothing to improve the signal it made it worse.The signal is coming in from cable to a four way splitter and one of the T.V's is weak in four channels.I figured i hooked it up wrong.No,i had three people look at it.So i figured i had some bad cable,no i used three different 75 ohm pieces and no change.I mean how can i screw up a one output amp,and i am pretty sure its from the same company.I know it is.To make matters worse i bought two of them.Now i haven't tried the second one yet.Like i say something is wrong.I will call the company on Monday.Stay tuned.One more thing the price difference between this sellers is well, how does one sell it for Thirty five dollars less than the other.Stay tuned i hooked it up wrong.( according to seller). Something must be wrong and i don't know what.The four channel one i bought works great.I put this signal amp behind one T.V.being it is a single amp.
This worked great for my outdoor antenna. This worked way better than the cheap Phillips amplifier from Walmart that did not work at all. I highly recommend this product. I hooked it up and much to my surprise, the digital signal was strengthened and picked up a couple more channels.
I plugged it into my cable line and the signal is now fantastic. I'd recommend this product to anyone who needs a cable boost. The HD is superlative. What a great product.
I have this amp right after the pre-amp coming from a DB4. From the amp I've split it to two different floors, at the end of the longer run it splits again going into two d-tv receivers. Just to clarify - it doesn't help me get better reception, it just keeps the signal strength strong from deteriorating on the long and split cable runs. The Amp does a great job sending the signal down the line. I have one D-TV station that is 90 degrees from the rest of the stations. With this Amp on the line at the point of entry I get the same signal strength after two splits that I get when going straight from the antenna. If I go straight into one receiver I get a solid signal, the moment I split it with out any boosting I loose the signal.
