Canon 2588B003 BP-809S Lithium Ion Battery Reviews
I bought a few of them since it only lasts for 80 minutes and the BP819 was not available & I was heading of for a cruise. I am not sure if the larger size of the 819 would have made the camera handling as comfortable. Handling the camera for about 4-5 hours each day, I was glad only the 809 was available. Over the 2 weeks I discharged and recharged them a dozen times each, no problems. Great Battery.
The silver battery is not really noticeable when used with the black HF10. I was going to get the larger 819 but it is difficult to find in stock anywhere. This one is an ample backup in my opinion if you have the facility to charge your batteries overnight. Does the job.
It gets about 80min of recording time when not using the video light. I purchased this as a second battery for the Canon HF10. Not much else to say, it's just like the one that comes with the camera.
