Bought two identical printers, one great, one not so good.Mine of course being the woman, got the sick one.
all printing is crooked, tried moving the paper, no luck. Top printer does great pictures. Bottom says no paper when its full or otherwise. Husband's work's great of course, no one wants to complain with a man.Tried to get my husband to trade with me, since he doesn't print from computer much, just lot's of pictures which on both are good. Darn, no luck, he wants his.Don't know what I'm going to do yet.
getting paper to feed from bottom tray was difficult to get just right at first but am satisfied with the printer now.
I had a Epson for many yrs. have only gone thru 2 in about 15 yrs. Still would believe in epson if they fixed the clogging heads problem. tried HP and they are crap. decided try to a Canon. After much research and reading reviews here, decided did not want to invest too much(just in case it sucked). I was pleasently surprised. Prints well , nice colors. I do use it to print my photographs. Like most reviewers agree can be a bit noisey, especially at start up.I leave mine always on, also out of fear the ink heads may clog. Not taking any chances. Worth the money, a quality printer so far. Have had for about 3 weeks.
It is a good photo printer. I do recomend getting the extra cable thou I had to go out and get one the next day.
I purchased a Cannon I P 3600 printer when my large format printer gave up the ghost. My reason I fully enjoy Zoom browser express and the acompaning easy photo print program that goes with it. The I P 3600 printer prints photos that are far superior to any lab that I have ever used. I printed my Christmas cards on it totaling somewhere around seventy five. I used Glossy photo paper which included a photo of my home all dressed in holiday lights as well as a personal Holiday greeting. They looked very professional and the ink tanks held up just fine throuh out the whole process. I have since priced the five print cartriges in a pack of five and found the cost to be around $60.00. It remains to be seen how long the cartriges last but on a whole I am very pleased with my purchase. The only negitive I have is the printer did not come with a manual for trouble shooting and the instructions for setting it up were a bit hard to understand and I have been working with computers for some fifteen years now and consider myself to be well above the novice catagory.
