I am still looking for it. This case is bulky, awkward to use, and provides limited protection. It is most unfortunate that this not-inexpensive camera is sold without a case of any kind, but this is certainly not a reasonable solution to that problem. I bought it; I tried it; I sent it back. Surely somebody is marketing a more useful case for the G9.
It has a velcrow and magnetic button to secure case closure. It's not really designed for around the neck or shoulder carrying, but you could. There's no zipper like other cases and it's really easy to pop out of the case for a quick shot. I bought this case, and it works great. It's tough leather, and fits nicely on the belt.
Good to protect what you have. But overall a decent attempt. But it can be a bit cumbersome to carry around. Perhaps more rounded corners.
Much needed case for the G7 and G9 cameras. Includes optional clip on side case for spare battery and memory card. Attractive and rugged. Compact - not any larger than required.
due to the slightly extra depth, there is plenty room for the neckstrap, and the small pouch inside works fine for an extra battery and sd card. I've really pushed it an managed to jam the charger in as well, but be careful not to scratch the motitor screen. The Canon PSC-75 Deluxe Soft Case for PowerShot S1 IS, S2 IS, and G6 seems to work fine for the g9 and is cheaper.
