Because it was hard to insert the wires. Not able to adjust the viewing angle. Somehow I did not like it. After that I gave the DVD player to my son to keep it on his lap. I used it for some time.
Otherwise, it worked great for our trip up North. My children were too young to get to the movies without having to take the whole thing down. I like the case, particularly for the price, but the one thing I found difficult was once the case is mounted on the back of the seat, it is hard to access the stored DVD's inside the case.
Don't forget to buy a dvd charger than can be used with the lighter in your car. Loved this product. Easy to install, and kept our 2 year old happy for a 12 hour car trip.
But overall it works. It also doesn't hold the player up as flat as I would like for viewing purposes. DVD case is nice and convienant, but you can't zip it up when it is hanging on the seat which makes it hard when your kids are trying to get in or out of the car.
It doesn't look big its perfect. I love it and its good size. My 7" coby dvd player fits perfect.
