I looked at a lot of different armbands for my iPod Classic, and decided on Case Logic. I agree with the other reviews that it needs a closure at the top to keep the iPod in place, but haven't had it slip out yet. Yes the screen is a bit difficult to read because of the plastic they used as a protective covering, but overall it fit my needs. I did discover that it has a compartment for you ID, credit card, or room key if you are staying at a hotel, which is nice. I would recommend this product, and if you are worried about a closure at the top just add a piece of velcro yourself.
This is a great product but not for the 120. The 120 is upside down and will not be secured properly!!! I had a friend that had the IPod 80 and gave it to her. It is perfect for the 80. I do not know if it will serve the 160. Had I not had someone to pass it on to I would have been very disappointed because it fits beautifully!!!
This is a really nice carrier but with one drawback...
Adding a simple Velcro to the top opening will keep your iPod in the case in the event that you don't stay vertical. As is it tends to slip out if you have it on when you use a weight bench etc. Would of been nice if they thought of that and included it from the factory. But it's easy enough to add your own.
After a minor 'heart attack' when I knocked my iPod Touch from its perch on the treadmill, I decided to bite the bullet and pick up an arm band.
All told, this arm band works fine.
Pros:
+The see-thru shield is clear enough for it to promptly and accurately register my touch commands
+I've never had the iPod slip out
+The elastic band stays in places
+No arm chaffing with short sleeves so long as I'm NOT moving my arms vigorously (works great for the elliptical machine)
+Built in pocket to place earbuds, though it's a bit tight
Cons:
-Chaffs the heck out of my arm when walking or running on the treadmill...short sleeve shirts and vigorous arm movements don't mesh.
-End of arm band strap is too thick...it contributes to the chaffing and rubs against my shirt as well. I've seen other armbands with much more low-profile straps
Overall, works as intended. Not bad, but not great.
the stitches started coming apart after my first use.
the plastic is not clear, which makes no sense for a case that is supposedly made for the video ipod.
the armband is too loose for the Ipod 80gb
for the amount they're charging this thing should fit the ipod like a glove.
