Clock, RMB899P/BOXBK Multi-brand Reviews

Don't bother with this product. The front display is also hard to read. My husband also had a difficult time getting it to detect the time, and we are in the eastern US time zone.

In my case, the cord jack connection appears to be weak, so the projection still blinks out. The black-on-grey color scheme does not provide enough contrast. It also only projects continuously if you buy a separate power cord to plug it in.

The projected time is very hard or impossible to see unless the room is pitch black. I was very excited to get this clock, but it just does not live up to its description. It's a waste of money.

It can show the time via back-light, but again you have to press a button for this function, and then it is on for a minute.

Make the clock EASY. The instructions were horrible. I would never have thought Oregon Scientific would have had something as cheap as this. It says the AC adapter is included.it's not.why would I want a projection clock if I can't get it to project all the time.

I totally concur with OR Murray. It's not rocket science.but getting the clock to the correct time zone is. It keeps me from having to sit up in bed.look over the lump who is my dear husband and try to see the clock.

I am computer literate and my family considers me the person to do all things like this.but when companies do like this it makes that job harder. I will definitely think again before I will spend the extra money on an OS product.

It turns out that it is just another electronic item made in China with VERY POOR instructions. I had the feeling that this was one of those $10 clocks you buy at a deep discount store. At $38 you would figure it to be a very nice item but it has some downside. The box says that an AC adapter is included, which it isn't. The biggest selling feature is the projection of the time on the ceiling, but to make it project, you have to hit the snooze button, so what is the sense of projection if you have to reach for the clock anyway. The icons in the instruction sheet are NOT the same as on the clock face. I saw a magazine article about this clock and we need to buy a travel alarm so I figured with a name like Oregon Scientific it must be a good item. Overall I gave it only 3 stars because I didn't think it was worth the $38.

This doesn't speak well to the quality I expected from OS. The instructions are impossible to read due to VERY small print on a single page with 4-6 different languages. Good luck. I was disappointed in this Atomic Projection Clock by Oregon Scientific. I kept the clock and will use it as a traveling alarm, but I will be VERY careful about any future OS products.
