But, clocky has changed that. There has been more then one occasion where I have slept through multiple alarm clocks and nearly missed my first classes. Its reliable, loud, and has an alarm that is sure to grab your attention. As a student, I have never been an early riser. This is by far the best purchase I have ever made from Amazon, and I would be sure to reccomend this product to my friends and family.
Clocky is really small. I tested it and I really like it so far. I got mine today. However there is one cool feature I figured out. It might even get me out of bed the first time around. However my roommate might hate it more than life. And the screw on the back of her, is super annoying. If you set it down upside down and will roll itself til it's right side up again.
And I contacted Nanda again. And I contacted Nanda again. They obviously are a small company and I was rooting for them. It's hard to recommend Clocky for this reason. I called them on the phone. Always apologetic, but never solving the problem. They don't seem to be run very well.
I emailed them. I even wrote a letter (a real honest to goodness letter - you know, with a stamp). Every time I spoke to someone, they said they would have to get back in touch with me, but they never did. This was a fun and useful product until it broke (runs away, but stopped making any alarm sound). I was past the return period from the store where I bought it so I contacted Nanda for warranty service. It's too bad. Nanda, if you're listening, it's and I would still like a working Clocky.
Nanda's customer support is awful.
The first thing you're struck by is how small it is compared to the pictures. The second thing is the difficulty in programming, and finally, it just sits there, the wheels never turned, and the alarm only went off sporadically.
Now she has to get up and chase clocky. It rolls freely on hardwood floor, but doesn't go far on carpet. My daughter likes her new clocky. She always had hard time getting up in the morning.
