have the system hooked up to an amp for better sound and it really rocks the house.

I ordered this stereo on Monday, I got it on Tuesday. Now, I get to open the box, hope I like what I see.
The radios still work but the CD went jankity. I bought two of these for teenager bedrooms. They worked for a very short time.
I have no buzzing issues with the speakers that others seem to have.I live in a studio apt so don't need a lot of sound. For $39.00 I am very happy with what I got. I would say buy this if your needs and requirements are minimal and you don't need or want a lot of bells and whistles. Plus, this can go on the wall which was a plus to me. I tested this at J&R Music in Macy's basement and this and a (much costlier) Panasonic were the only two that got any reception at all. Reception is very good and sound is fne.
