Coby CX90BLK Digital Pocket AM/FM Radio, Black Reviews

Very good small radio, lives up to its claims. Perfect for workouts and listening to music & sports.

Just program them in and you are ready to go. I like this particular radio because it makes changing stations easy. One drawback is that it eats through batteries.

overall I like it. My kids watch DVD while I take them to school so I needed my own radio I can listen to but it does not have a good recption when I am in the car. However during day it has a good reception and at night it's ok.

Only complaint I have is the volume control, which is not a rotary control. For its price, this radio is a good value. It has a + and - button and sometimes hard to set the right volume for the room volume. Toss the headphones and use better like low price Sony ear buds. Other than that, it is probably the best value in pocket radios under 50 or 60 dollars.

The reception on each modulation and sound quality are more than sufficient and configuring the presets can be done with zippy ease. The only gripe I have is that I wish I could get more bang for my buck out of the AAA batteries' longevity; with frequent daily usage I seem to have to replace them in approximately three weeks which in these tough economic times puts an unwelcome strain on my pocketbook. After being badly burned by a previous portable am/fm radio whose manufacturer shall go nameless I found this to be a pleasant upgrade relative to the price.
