The first one I bought didn't work so I had to return it; the 2nd worked for about a month and a half. Just make sure that you buy a good extended warranty. While it is working, this sounds good and is easy to operate. So far, I have a 100% failure rate within 2 months for the two boom boxes. This is a great product when it works. Now I have to get it fixed or replaced under my extended warranty.
Good sound, size and weight. It is also portable. We have some MP3 CDs that will not play in some players. My wife really likes it. A piece of cake with this one.
The quality & mechanics of this radio are good. Would definitely recommend this product. I had checked at Wal-mart & Big lots for a radio that would utalize a tape plus a disc. With the free shipping, it definitely was a savings. The prices were quite a bit higher than Amazon.
Very pleased, especially with the dubbing ability and that it plays. mp3 CDs.
Now, we have to discard this unit and get a new unit. We used it for 2 years and then volume control broke and could not be fixed. Its hard to find a boombox which plays MP3 and also has cassette recorder. But then there are not many choices for boombox with both cassette and MP3 players. The unit, however, is not sturdy.
