I never had an I pod, so I didn't know what to expect. I really like the fact that that way the earphone cord is designed I can wear it around my neck an not not worry about losing it. I found this easy to use and I can load a ton of music on it. It works like a memory stick so no other connectors are required. I love it.
Holds alot of music but pain to scroll through tracks. This product shipped in under 3 days.
I would buy another just like it, but they are nearly impossible to find now. Because this device is not able to play the files in order, it is only a usb flash drive to me. I bought it to replace my LYRA 2317, which after 2 1/2 years, is beginning to show it's age. Coby forgot one of the most basic functions of a portable playback device. It is unlikely that I will trust that name again. I have just tossed the piece of junk coby into a drawer to use as a backup/spare storage device and ordered a sandisk mp3 player. And so it is now too large, delicate, and expensive too compete with comparable devices.
However, it looks and feels cheap so I wasn't surprised with an early failure. I even took the player apart to see if something got stuck between the play button and circuit board, but I have found that the electronics on the player failed. So I threw it away. After one month of light usage, the play button stopped working. The player has its pros, it's simple to use, it's light and the battery life is good.
Easy to load, just plug in USB port & drag from source folder to this player. Great sound. This is a great no frills player at a very low price for 4 gigs. I load all my best Christmas music on this guy on random and I'm set for the Christmas season. I have 2 of these. Holds about 1,200 songs. No problems after 6 months.
