Coby TF-DVD7100 Portable DVD Player Reviews
Of course like any other electronic device that has to run on a battery, it doesn't have as long of a charge as I would like. so this DVD player fits the bill. This is a great little protable DVD player for the camper. We don't always take our laptop with us everywhere.
It is now a good looking but worthless piece of electronics that I hope can be recycled. Soon it said "No DVD" for all DVDs. Then it said "No DVD" for certain DVDs. This DVD player worked great with light use for a little while.
It then broke for no apparent reason after only two more uses. When it was working it seemed like a good little dvd player. Well, I think my title says it all. The first time I used it during a lay-over the battery died before the end of my 2 hour movie.
The switch is an AV in and out switch. At the time I purchased it on sale through amazon for about 100.00.
It has traveled with us on various trips and is used at home by family members.
The player still works I'm very please with it. I bought this player over two years ago for my son for Christmas.
If the power button is on, the dvd is in the player, and you get a blank screen I'd suggest playing with the AV switch on the side of the DVD player. Now there are plenty of portable players to choose from that are new and affordable- this review is just to inform others that after two years ours still works and we are pleased with it.
Past reviews which mention the player only working a couple of times and not working again may be cause by a little switch that sometimes is tampered with by children. I was hesitant at the time because of mixed reviews.
It worked fine the first day. The second day it refuses to play any DVD. It still can play CDs. Keep getting "wrong disc" error when playing DVDs.
