I GENERALLY LIKE THE WWII GAMES: LIKE CALL OF DUTY: FRONTLINE, AIRBORNE TROOPS-COUNTDOWN TO D-DAY. THE ORIGINAL MEDAL OF HONOR ON PLAYSTATION AND MEDAL OF HONOR UNDERGROUND. THANK YOU. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL CONFLICT DESERT STORM AND I HAVE PLAYED THE SEQUEL: BACK TO BAGDAD. IT WAS NOT A GAME, IT WAS REAL.
CALL OF DUTY: BIG RED ONE IS GOOD. FOR SOME REASON WORLD WAR II GAMES, BASED IN EUROPE SEEM TO BE BETTER.
BUT THIS ONE IS A LITTLE MORE BETTER THAN THE WHOLE CONFLICT SERIES. MY DAD WAS IN THE ITALIAN NAVY AND MY MOM WAS IN SICILY, WHEN THE AMERICAN TROOPS CAME IN.
ON PS2, MEDAL OF HONOR, THE 1ST ON PS2. INTERESTING, GOOD GRAPHICS, LIKE THE ORIGINAL DESERT STORM.
I DID NOT CARE FOR CONFLICT: GLOBAL, OR THE CONFLICT VIETNAM. MOH-RISING SUN IS OK, BUT BASED IN THE PACIFIC, MY PARENTS WERE IN EUROPE DURING THE WAR, SO I KNOW FROM MY PARENTS WHAT THEY WERE GOING THROUGH.
I HOPE THIS HELPS. THIS GAME, LIKE THE 1ST IS PLAYABLE AGAIN AND AGAIN.
allied and enemy AI are very inteligent expecialy at the harder settings. Minor problems aside this is a realy good game in single or multi palyer. This game -like the orignal- is a solid squad bassed shooter. The.
The need for tactics on levels is amazing. This one foucus more on urban combat than the vast desert as the first one did. The abitlity to play is the entire squad ,each with unique equipment, weapons, and skills, is also a nice feature. A 50.BMG sniper rifle can be steady in a second with no recoil and so on.
The only problem with it is the weapon realisim.
SOCOM:U.S. So stay away from the Desert Storm games-Ther are MUCH better war and tacti shooter games out.-the latest two Conflict games are good though. Ghost Recon 2. BYE Navy SEALs.
Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater. Rainbow Six:LOCKDOWN(I like it-alot of ppl don`t). Ghost Recon. I ain`t got them all but i HAVE played them all and like them,The reason i have played them all is because i have got three friends that love Tacti shooters and war games(two boys and one girl-love these games). here are the BEST stealth games out now:.
Ghost Recon:Jungle Storm. Metal Gear Solid 2(SOL and S). I ain`t got an XBox-But i have heard that XBox has WAY better Military/Paramilitary games than both PS2 and GameCube XBox have got things like CounterStrike,GR2:Summit Strike,GR:Island Thunder,Operation:FLASHPOINT etc.-i wish PS2 nad GCN had all thiose-But still i like my PS2 ones. Call Of Duty 2:Big Red One. Conflict:Global Storm(in USA Global Terror). Medal Of Honor:Frontline. SOCOM II. Medal Of Honor:European Assault(NOT Rising Sun).
SOCOM 3. Splinter Cell 3:Chaos Theory. Brothers In Arms:Earned In Blood. Call Of Duty:Finest Hour. Hitman:Contracts. (i live in UK-so i am talking about Global Terror) they are fun. The Conflict series are not the best Tactical Shooter series even if they are fun,i still prefer SOCOM,Ghost Recon and Rainbow SiX any day.So here are all the tactical shooters/WAR games that i recommned:(some are FPS,some are 3PS). Conflict:VietNam.
Hitman 2:Silent Assasin. So DSII is krap it boring-i borrowed it from one of my friends who didn`t like it as i was trading it in for Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater,speaking of MGS3 i am also a fan of stealth games:. ShellShock:Nam 67. though i like SC3:CT i hate its predessors they are So BORING like DSII and DSI.
Metal Gear Solid 1/The Twin Snakes. Thse are all Military/paramillitary Tactical Shooters/War games. Brothers In Arms:Road to Hill 30. I like the latest two Conflict games,C:Vietnam and C:Global Storm.
Rainbow Six 3.
The Conflict series are good,but i HATE The Desert Storm games,Conflict:VietNam is good and Conflict:Global Storm is okay. If you looking for a good Tactical squad based action go for a SOCOM game,A Ghost Recon game or a Rainbow 6 game. seeyaa Conflict:Desert Storm II Is boring,theres only two good thing and that is 1)Squad Based Action and 2)Alot Of Missions.But that all there is to it.The music is annoying,The enemy soldiers are quite laem. I even preferred ShellShock:`Nam `67 over this.
It's a must have for any gamers inventory. Seems the AI picks up on the save and unleashes Hell's fury on you guaranteeing you'll be loading and reloading. This is such an improvement over Conflict: Desert Storm. If you save the game before a difficult spot so you can reload it in the event you are killed, you'll be killed. It's a must have. That said, I simply can't get enough of this game. Only one thing I found to be unfavorable.
