I had high hopes for it considering it was Cosair, hopefully the one I get back from my RMA will be problem free. Had this PSU in an older non demanding computer until my newest B.A. computer was finished being built. It took only two days in my 300 watt max demanding computer to kill this thing.
Very consistent, quiet, powerful, modular. One thing that I would improve though, are the modular cables. It's so quiet that I can hear my CPU fan from about 3 feet away. Before this power supply I was using an Enermax Liberty ELT620AWT 620W ATX 12V V2.2 Power Supply. It was pretty good. But after this upgrade/downgrade (I consider it an upgrade despite losing 100W of power because for my use-case, I benefit more out of the new Corsair). Time to upgrade that now, but all in all I'm very happy with it.
a little disappointing when you're paying over $100 for these units. Anyway, I thought it was a great buy. Pretty much all I was looking for in a PSU. They aren't the woven kind that come with other PSUs, they're just plastic cables. The power supply is NOTICEABLY quieter than my prior PSU.

What I found most amazing was its size. This is an incredibly silent and extremely powerful PSU. Best PSU I've owned to date. It is significanty smaller than most other 600W PSU's that I've seen.
After reading a number of reviews on different power supplies, I chose the Corsair 520w HX. Makes for a very 'tidy'/clean setup compared to other power supplies I've used. It is a high quality power supply.in terms of stable outputs, ease of installation, and flexibility of connectors. I especically like the flexibility of chosing connectors. VERY quiet - - - the quietest I've owned even compared to PC Power & Cooling "Silencer". Includes a nice bag to keep extra connectors.
