CORSAIR Memory Airflow Fan
DOMINATOR Airflow fan is designed to be matched with the DOMINATOR heat sinks and allows even more heat to be removed from the DHX XMS2 DOMINATOR modules. The DOMINATOR Airflow fan unit contains three 40mm tachometer-controlled fans to provide impinging airflow to the memory subsystem. With the moderate RPMs required to provide adequate forced air the DOMINATOR Airflow fan is nearly silent.

Nope, didn't really need it but it looked cool. Ran well for about 6 months but now one of the fans is sticking and is making a humming noise
It sits high above the memory giving lots of room for memory cooling fins but gets in the way of the VGA card cooler(see my review on it)I like it. Fit is "nice and secure". Hello, I installed this with little trouble.It just barely clears everything.It moves lots of air for it size(I'm guessing the large air flow is due to the jet engine design).Is more quiet than the slot fan that vents the VGA (see my review on the slot cooler).
Like a lot people have said, once mounted it can slide side-to-side but unless you are constantly and roughly moving your computer around, it is not going to go anywhere so I wouldn't worry about it. This is a great product that works well and is easy to install. I'd have given it five stars except Corsair chose to use really cheap fans, I've had this about a week and can tell already that I'll probably have to replace the fans with higher (read high) quality fans that won't start making noise in less than a week.
