My 4 yr old daughter loves this game. It keeps her busy for as long as I let her play it. Great game for little who can't read yet.
They like to color too, once again, there are too many choices of things to click to complete the actual picture. We got this for our 6 year old to play on his DS Light. It is fun. He's just beginning to read, but he's not really interested in what they have to say, he wants to get to the adventure part. He likes it, but the arrows on the screen, coupled with the many sentences on the top screen take a long time to just get to the actual playing. It's an okay game. Our 2 1/2 year old loves the connect the dots part and clicking on the shimmering objects.
I defintive recommend it. This is an excelent option if you have little kids that are starting using the Nintendo DS. I was looking for a game that would be easy to play for my 6 year old girl. It is fun, and it keeps them entertained for a while.
I couldn't find it anywhere else but Amazon. It was recommended by a Mom of a 3 year old. Very happy with it. My 4 year old, Carys loves this game, picked it up quickly.
And although I love playing with her, and helping her along, sometimes she wants to play by herself. I'd definitely recommend this game for the younger crowd. I bought the Nintendo DS for my daughter's fifth birthday, because she had such a good time playing with one at her friend's house. She has a blast coloring all the different pictures she's won. This game, even though it does have written instructions, is intuitive enough for her to figure out. Well - what I didn't realize is that most of the "kids" games give written instructions along the way. It has fun puzzles where you win extra drawings and crayons.
