Creative Labs 70SB057000000 Sound Blaster Audigy SE Card Reviews
Thanks again. I bought this as a gift and I'm pleased to report that it was received with great pleasure and happyness. I have to thank the seller as the card arrived before I thought it would, plus it was easy to install.
Great sound card upgrade for an older system or a great replacement for the stock audio in most PC's.
I had a Creative Sound Blaster with more bells and whistles than this one but when I had a hard drive crash, it stopped working. I replaced the old one with this one and it worked the first time.
It is a very solid performer at a very reasonable price. If you don't need a lot of fancy extras, this card is ideal. This card replaced the dead on-board audio in my PC.
Worth every cent of the $18 I spent for it. One of the only "Plug N Play" installs I've had that was trouble free. It loaded up fine, and the update from creative website all worked great. I bought a new Vista 64-bit computer and just didn't feel I needed to upgrade from the Integrated HD audio. The sound improvement is certainly noticeable, clear and bright compared to what I had before. With the Windows start up wav I could tell the difference, playing a CD was phenomenal. But, had been having some strange pops and whistles, so when I saw the Audigy SE in a clearance bin I bought it.
