My only complaint is that the screen is hard to see in sunlight, which was actually a strength of the iriver. I have used up the 20 GB and am now in the market for a 30 GB or larger unit. Upgraded to this unit, which I have been extremely pleased with. Sound is great, unit is pretty durable, battery life is pretty good.
I also dislike the touchpad and was extremely frustrated with it at first (even after setting it to the least sensitive level), but grew accustomed to it after a couple of months. I sync through Windows Media Player and it works perfectly and quickly. . I'm surprised there aren't more to pick from.
I previously had an iriver, which was very frustrating to synchronize and broke after about a year.
I have had this MP3 player since Aug. I transfer and delete files all the time. It is used mostly for listening to books that I download from my local library and speeches from my college website. I use it at least an hour everyday.
It can be a little slow to change files, no big deal. It has had minimal problems with a lot of use. It recharges fairly quickly on computer or using the electrical cord.
I would highly recommend it to anyone. 2006. It has taken a lot of abuse.
then, about a week after the warrenty ended, it wouldn't work. there about 4-5 screens it goes onto regularly on the boot process, but mine goes to the second, freezes for about 3 minutes, then goen to a malfunction page. This MP3 player worked awesome for several months. there are choices to erase all of the memory, reload the firmware, reboot, and something else. I would not suggest this product to anyone. I can't sell it now, because it doesn't work, and creative won't take it back, becuase it's not warrented. Only the reboot works, which just brings you back to the same screen.
1.Battery life is really bad (It usually last about 1 1/2 hours at the most). 7.only a 90 day warranty(if you buy it new). 5.Can only hold about 5,000 mp3 files. Pro's. 3.good audio quality.
If you really want to get a better mp3 player get the creative zen V:plus. cons. 4.Its really compared to other mp3 players. There are more con's then pro's but it still manages to be an alright media player. 2.You can change the color theme. This mp3 player is okay. 2.Freezes up more then it should.
holds short video clips, music, photos all for about $185(8 gig) 3.Outdated model (can't buy accessories for i from creative anymore). 1.Can use more then one program(unlike ipods). 6.Creative says the battery can last about 19 hours on a full charge mine last about 1 1/2 hours. 4.Doesn't cost alot of money for a mp3 player that can hold pictures and music.
They bought an identical item, and it lasted less than 6 months before it stopped working. It worked for less than 30 days after repair. We purchased this MP3 player and before a year was up we had problems with it. Sent it in to the manufacturer for repair (cost $25). Before we had any problems we recommended this product to a friend.
