I give this product 5 stars because it is exactly what I wanted - a very small, sturdy, sleek mp3 player with no screen (so you can't scratch it up or get it dirty), and a good price.
Pros:
+ Weighs less that 1 ounce
+ Extremely easy to operate
+ You can use a free downloadable program called Creative Media Lite to transfer and organize sound or data files to the device. This is a drag-and-drop program, very easy to operate. Songs are played alphabetically by folder name, so you can decide the playback order by renaming folders.
Be Aware:
- Battery life can be less than 10 hours, depending on sound resolution of files
(but it's easily chargeable - just plug it into any USB drive on your computer)
- There is an LED light that flashes about every second during playback. It changes to yellow or red to indicate battery life.
- Device only holds 1 gigabyte of data (but that is more hours of music than are playable in one session of battery life)

Conclusion:
If you are looking for a great MP3 player that doesn't hold many songs, and doesn't have a screen, and is easy to use, small, and light-weight, then this is for you.
I purchased a Zen Stone armband and skin so that I can hold it on my arm behind my elbow when I workout and have no pockets. You can get this on Amazon for less than $10, just do a search for Zen Stone armband.

Wonderful product! Gave it to my mother for Christmas and she's crazy about it. The 1GB is perfect for a few CDs worth of music and is very easy to load. Her only problem with it is that if it gets cold (like if she left it in the car overnight during cold weather) it needs to warm up before it will turn on. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of in case it happens to you. Don't panic! Just wait for a while.
For the price, this is the way to go. I have gotten four and three are working great and the other was taken so I can't complain. My first one is going on three years now so I decided to go with what has worked for me.
This is such an awesome product. I misplaced mine and when I found out this was discontinued, I was so bummed. Then I found it on Amazon, received it in about 3 days and it was in perfect condition. I was ecstatic to find my original. I've loaded them both up and am in heaven !!
As good as the iPod Shuffle without the huge price tag.
B/c I don't listen to alot of music, 1 GB was enough for me.
It doesn't have a screen so you have to go through the songs "blindly". However, they do provide folders so you can browse through folders and then browse through songs.
Very small and handy. Fits right in my pocket.
