This case provides protection for the Zen Stone. You have the choice, though. Now I have it, I use it every day. So, I like it, but I could live without it. The massive link is a large increase in teh size of the player, and, whilst it does mean that the player can be attached to things, the bulk may be more than the basic protection requires. There is no need to remove the player from the case for charging or other operations; even the top button can be operated through teh case.
My zen stone plus fit perfectly into it and everything aligned perfectly. Ok, there's one con, it does not provide access to the short cut and power/play/pause button. However, you can still press them, the synthetic material is soft enough to do so. This little keychain accessory for the zen stone plus is great. It provides access to the usb port and the plug for your headphones. First, both the screen and the button controls (on the front of the player) are protected by clear plastic. The key ring and the synthetic material seem like it would be durable.
My wife uses it 90% of the time at the gym. It works. All the controls are accessible and it can be hooked to your keys, your workout gear, whatever.
Some slam "the stone" for not being like an ipod, but if you are the least bit computer savvy, the stone is cheaper and easier to use and gives excellent sound. Not cheesy at all. Cheesy.
My wife loves the 2G Creative Zen Stone and this case is the perfect carrier for it. Anyone checked out the myriad of Ipod accessories that don't fit. Hmm, would I rather have a tiny, good sounding MP3 that cost me less than $75 or a $200+ ipod to lose, have stolen or break.
Not the greatest design. And yes, it is lightweight pleather, which material certainly has its uses, but I could see how the keyring loop would rip off in about a handful of uses. Would have been better in some kind of ripstop nylon perhaps. But after spending some time trying to fit the two items together, we concluded that ours, at least, was not properly aligned and would never fit his player. My son has a Zen Stone Plus, so I thought it would be nice to pick this up for him. This is especially aggravating as I will have to pay shipping to return the thing, so I will only get about half the purchase price refunded. Highly NOT recommended.
This helps to protect your mp3 player. I highly reccomend this product. I was scared it would get scratched up so i bought this. it works great to protect it and still gives you accessibility to your Zen stone.
