Creative's Zen Vision W is the widescreen multimedia MP3 player for movies, music and photos. Its high-gloss, scratch-resistant 16: 9 display with adjustment makes all content fit the entire screen, and its large hard disk stores up to 120 hours of movies, 15000 songs or many thousands of photos. The player has a Compact Flash slot for the transfer of stills from digital cameras, and it supports popular movie and audio formats as well as Album Art and customized wallpapers. Additional features include a built-inFM radio, a microphone for live recording, and connectivity to external TVs and speakers.
The Creative Zen Vision W Multimedia Player lets you take all your movies, music and photos in a light, pocket-sized device that is loaded with 30 or 60 GB of memory. Cons:. 2.The interface is logical and makes sense. 8.For all you "green" people out there, the packing it comes in is the most efficient packaging I have ever seen. 5.A few weeks ago I ran my Zen for about 12 hours without recharging, but I almost never used the screen during that period. 6.It comes with a cable to connect Audio and Video to a TV, very nice feature. (ALL batteries eventually go bad, that includes rechargeable ones) Also, you can buy another battery and then be able to use your player for twice as long as you would be able to with only one battery.
7.Comes with a wall charger, unlike most mp3 players (that includes ipods). 1.The Screen is beautiful. 2.No one knows what it is, so I am constantly explaining what it is to people.
1.Its big. Pros:. 3.CF card reader is cool, but I never have had a change to use it with a camera because most Digital cameras now use SD cards.
One of the biggest advantages of a device with a removable battery is that when the Battery goes bad you can replace the battery rather than buying a new mp3 player. 4.Removable/replaceable battery. (My previous mp3 player was a Zen V Plus and they were almost exactly the same).
If I didn't where Cargo shorts it would be a problem for caring, but its worth it for the screen size and replaceable battery. I have had my Zen Vision W for a almost 8 months now and I love it.
Keeping the buttons small and off the to side allows for the big screen, and it's a sacrifice I'm glad I made. The software that comes with the Zen is relatively easy to use. The quality and different resolutions you can set make most movies look great.
The only reason I didn't give this a 5-star rating was the sheer size of the thing. It's similar the Apple's drag-and-drop mentality, and you get the hang of it pretty quick. I felt the buttons were a little small (and I have small hands), but they stood out from each other well enough to use it without a problem.
It's big, heavy, and definitely noticeable in your pocket. The Zen isn't the most portable device, but that screen is just so pristine, I don't really mind the trade-off. Perfect for watching movies on the go.
The widescreen display is beautiful. I've owned the Zen Vision: W for quite some time now, and it's a great alternative to the iPod.
Very good, great sound and picture. Now 2 years old. Has hooked up to a car stereo input and worked great.
It's easy to use, lasts a long time, and has a big screen. otherwise it held up fine. buy it. I have around two thousand songs on it, and thousands of pictures, and I've only used about 10GB.
My only complaints are that the earphones only lasted a year, and that it is a nuisance trying to get album art if you don't use windows media player, which adds it automatically. this is probably the best (if a bit chunky) mp3 you can buy, if you want everything plus a 14 hour battery life. Originally I had a card for videos, but I don't think I'll need it, because there's so much space on it. I've been there.
it still looks and works as if it were new. If you like watching movies, and fly on long international flights, get this. Don't even consider a smaller screen. I've had my vision W for about a year and a half, and it's fantastic.
The screen is HUGE, the menus are easy to navigate and it holds tons of stuff.
