Disney Princess Tea Party Reviews
This CD is played everywhere, in the house and in the car. She absolutely loves this CD. She enjoys all of the princesses singing their own songs, as well as those they sing together. She also enjoys looking at the insert with all of the princess pictures.
Some of the songs on this CD are used in her weekly ballet class and she danced to "The Princess Dance" at her recital. Would recommend this to anyone who has a little princess of their own. We are definitely going to wear this CD out. I purchased this CD for my 3 1/2 year old daughter.
I liked that the words to the songs are included and it tells you which princess sings each song. Her favorite tunes are "The Princess Dance", "Every Girl Can Be A Princess", and "Happy Birthday Princess".
In waiting for more Disney songs of this era,I'll be listening to this. This would be a great album for any child you want to use their imagination, away from the TV or computer, while learning to socialize, while being polite to others around them. This only works for so long. After searching through countless pages of rehashed Disney classics I found this mp3 album. It seems refreshing to have something new, that hadn't been passed around a million times, reworked to give new flavor.
My Daughter listens to it all the time and whenever I need a birthday gift for one of her friends this is what we get. Our copy from Disney does not have that feature. I would highly recommend it. There is even something in it that appeals to the little girl in me. WE LOVE IT.
We originally purchased this after being at a Tea Party at Disney. I have probably purchased 10 of them and it has been loved by every recipient from 3-7 years old. It was an impulse purchase. I hear that the enhanced version can be put into a computer but I don't have any experience as to what it does.
I got my daughter the "Maggie" version of this CD - there are personalized versions of most girls names. I am using this for a tea party I am having for the little girls in her prekindergarten class. Adorable, they use her name over and over, the songs are cute and she does not know any better if they are, indeed, not the original princess voices.
After hearing the previews on amazon I was longing forward to owning the complete Cd - and I love it. I also like Snow White's new voice and the song she has, where she is baking with the dwarfs, the song is really fun to listen to. The only song I didn't really like was Pocahontas song, but that is because I'm really not into slow, romantic songs, but Judy Kuhn's voice is so beautiful I can still listen to it. I also loved "Cups & Saucers" which have a more asian feel to it, it's not broadway and had a more simple feel to it, which suited Mulans personality. The lyrics are simple, which is a good thing, it makes the songs easy to remember and sing along too. Instead of being just giving a feeling of being rushed together, the songs are very pleasent to listen to and most of them have a very broadway feel to it. This is one of my favorite Cds, I can listen to it over and over again. Susan Egan, Jodi Benson, Lea Salonga, Paige O'hara and Jody Kuhn sings songs for the princesses they voiced (expect Susan who does Cinderella's voice) along with three new women who also have beautiful voices, even though they don't song like the originals.
