I like that the action jacket has a belt clip so you can attach it to your pants or shirt rather than your arm. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
depending on your preference. A recommended must have for gym goers. does the job and quite affordable too. one for my ipod nano 1st gen, and my bf's 2nd gen nano. but it fits, it has enough room to access all the controls, and protects my ipod from everything.
So ok, it can be a little snug, and light stretching is needed. it has a clip and an armband attachment. So I bought 2 of these. WORKS GREAT FOR BOTH.
It is, however, a HUGE clip and will raise it off your arm by at least an inch. Almost nice enough to make me want to buy the 2g. The arm band is a piece of junk. The best band I have found so far is the Belkin F8Z153-KG, but it only works for the 2g, alas. The belt clip is OK but obviously cannot be removed as stated. Or better yet, buy generic mp3 players instead of this Apple hegemony.
Or say to heck with them all and let my 1G get some dings and scratches. This thing is a tangled web of woe and despair - bulky, unattractive, and functionally not good in terms of accessing the iPod's wheel through the plastic. (Returning this item). This is becoming an annoying habit - buying and returning annoying products for the Nano 1g.
Some have said this does not fit the 2nd generation nanos, but they are completely wrong.
That cannot happen with this because of the nice separation from my arm.
I also happen to like the white color because it is different than all those boring black armbands out there.
It fits the second gen nano very well; snug but able to access the control wheel.
This case works very well for running.
It is made well and I believe will hold up well over time.
With other bands like the Marware sportsuit my sweat would work its way through the case and all over my ipod.
It is fully adjustable and will keep rain off the unit (not perfectly but well enough).
Many have written how they don't like that the clip does not come off, but this keeps the unit away from my arm and away from sweat because the clip is how it attaches to the armband.
